Why trees

In our global battle against climate change, trees are a 400 million year old solution at our fingertips.

Forests stand as unsung heroes, tirelessly capturing carbon, cooling our planet, and preserving vital wildlife habitats while orchestrating the delicate water cycle.

The devastating impact of deforestation

Right trees, right place, right time

We establish relationships with trusted reforestation partners utilizing a strict checklist of criteria that follows Goal 15 of the Sustainability Development Goals.

Forests are more than just trees

The health of a forest ecosystem depends on a vibrant and diverse animal community. Loss and fragmentation of habitat is one of the biggest threats to a spectrum of animal species.

We endeavor to restore biodiversity by rejoining habitat remnants and planting trees that attract animals and protect endangered species.

Particular attention is paid to attracting "keystone" species such as bees, elephants, and wolves, which have a disproportionately large effect on the health of their natural environment.

Are all projects certified?

Each project has it's own set of benefits, both environmental and social. Some of our projects have obtained third-party certification, and others have not. All our projects follow globally recognized certification standards criteria, augmented by our own tracking and CO2 measurement tools, to meet the highest carbon removal requirements.

Whether a project has obtained third-party certification or not is by no means an indicator of the quality of the project. These are just two different strategies for planting trees, both valid.
